Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
Identify a problem and create a product to solve that problem by talking to customers, completing surveys and using market research.
Determine if the problem is large enough to warrant a product-based solution and if the customers are willing to pay for this solution.
Apply creativity and innovation to figure out whether the product could be the solution.
Test whether the solution product is viable, worth pursuing and liked by the target users.
Identify goals and themes for development and solve the most important challenges to legitimize the product concept.
Create a minimum viable product (MVP), an initial version that has only enough function to meet its customer's purpose.
Conduct experiments with the MVP to gauge interest, test price sensitivity, find marketing channels, create a message, and develop packaging.
Collect customer feedback to continue expansion and enhancements, keep growing the product roadmap, and set new strategic goals for the product.
