Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems and required applications
Responsible for maintaining servers and workstations
Configuring hardware and software, setting up peripherals such as printers & scanners, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users
Maintain Inventory of IT and Network related equipment
Sets up and configures desktop computers, peripherals and accounts
Provide on-site and remote (i.e. via phone, email or remote access) technical support to users by diagnosing and correcting problems
Receive, log and track all requests from users related to network, printing and PC issues
To interact with users to identify computer related needs and provide appropriate software/hardware support applicable to those needs.
Provide instruction to staff on the use of computer applications and systems when needed
Network Cabling, Installation and Troubleshooting
Maintain Connectivity of different nodes
Monitor and test PC performance and provide PC performance statistics and reports
Ensure routine backups of servers and end-user data
Assist in development and maintenance of Website
Generate reports as requested by the Line Manager
Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors
Any other task assigned by the Line Manager.
