Job Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, patients and employees by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures and supervise the security staff to ensure the overall safety and security of the Hospital.
Develop & upgrade organizational Safety and Security Management Plan in relation to the wide ranging contextual risk as per management directives.
Develop & maintain liaison with various law enforcement agencies, including local police for timely & swift response in controlling extenuating situations.
Establish a protocol / SOP for communicating security status, updates and actual or potential problems to higher management on a regular basis.
Develop and implement new procedures & plans with regards to safety and loss prevention based on report of incidents, accident and other relevant information.
Ensure through a set procedure that all incident, inspection, discrepancies etc. are recorded.
Undertake regular security rounds of all hospital areas on daily basis and mitigate issues hampering smooth hospital operations.
Ensure compliance with JCI standards related to provision of safe & secure environment to patients, visitors and staff.
Periodically conduct assessment of Hospital security situation and identify associated threats/risks.
Amicably handle & resolve patients, visitors, consultants and staff complaints related to security issues.
Establish, supervise and train teams that respond swiftly to any emergency situation relating to security or safety threat.
Oversee functions of CCTV Control Room.
Ensure appropriate deployment of Security staff across Shifa Hospitals and Shifa Hostels and provide security cover during seminars/ official functions.
Ensure that no form of violence and aggression, whether physical or verbal occurs. Mitigate, through training and deployment of guards.
