A US based technology house is looking for a Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Convert PSD designs into Static Site. Convert HTML sites into Shopify Sites.
- Create Fully Functional Ecommerce Stores.
- Knowledge about WordPress and other Platforms is plus point. Edit the old PHP, CSS, HTML and JavaScript/jQuery Scripts
- Make the websites responsive, workable on all mobile devices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must have graduation in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Must have knowledgeable about version control tools like GitHub and Bit bucket etc.
- Must be a basic understanding of SEO tags and cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
