Assistant Manager Training & Development

This role is responsible for setting the direction for the bank's learning and development requirements in consultation with various departments. Guides, supervises and provides support for devising effective learning and development programs for the bank's employees. To create a conducive work environment and provide leadership, motivation and opportunities for development of team members.

Formulates, communicates and oversees the implementation of all learning & development programs for the Bank and ensures that they are aligned to Bank's vision and strategy.
Supervises and validates content of all training programmes in order to ensure alignment with business requirement and desired development plan.
Establishes close links with departmental heads and ensures training & development requirements are closely tied to their business requirements. Trainings to be tailored according to Departments’ requirement.
Ensures identification of training needs on an annual basis in partnership with each department and through Annual appraisals. Develop the annual training calendar accordingly.
Monitors and ensures delivery of training programs as per training calendar.
All training programs are held in line with the business needs.
Train, motivate and evaluate personnel; provide or coordinate staff training; work with employees to correct deficiencies.
