DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become Subject Matter Expert of TimeSolv products.

  • Answer and address all incoming online chat support requests and emails from customers.

  • Ability to successfully resolve multiple incoming online chat support requests and emails simultaneously.

  • Take ownership of each support request and effectively bring it to resolution or escalation.

  • Assist in creating and updating solutions for our Knowledgebase for training and information purposes.

  • Perform remote analysis and diagnosis of customer issues and recommend and implement corrective solutions.

  • Work closely with the Product Management, Quality Assurance, Development, to learn all aspects of existing and upcoming product updates.

  • Maintain a favorable image of TimeSolv when interfacing with customers.

  • Accurately track and log support requests using provided tracking tools.

  • Effectively collect and submit relevant data to appropriate groups for analysis. Based on findings follow up with customers regarding ticket statuses promptly.

  • Document and report all escalated issues to appropriate groups.

  • Communicate escalated and trending issues to Product Manager.

  • Test and replicate reported issues and then report/document findings.

  • Preferred: the ability to provide backup phone/voicemail support when necessary.

GOALS and OBJECTIVES:

  • Maintain the highest level of quality by resolving issues promptly.

  • Work closely with other team members to make sure we provide extremely high levels of service to our customers.

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS and EDUCATION:

  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or four-year related degree

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Fast typing skills over 40 wpm

  • 2+ years of technical support experience in the software industry is desired, including but not limited to: browsers, SaaS, troubleshooting, and diagnosis experience.

Work Hours and conditions:

  • Required to work the US business hours, Mon-Fri, 8 am to 5 pm US Central Time

  • Full-time, Long-term

  • Work from home, need a quiet room

  • Fast and reliable internet, with UPS back up power

  • Will be paid for the hours worked with a minimum of 40 hours per week, overtime available if pre-approved

  • Newer computer with an additional second monitor

  • Accurately record time using Worksnaps and submit timesheets and paid time off requests
