We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Shipping Trainee. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in the fast-paced world of international shipping.

About the Role:

The Shipping Trainee will work closely with our Senior Shipping Officer to learn all aspects of the shipping process, from booking containers to arranging for original bills of lading. This is a hands-on training program that will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of international shipping operations.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Senior Shipping Officer with daily tasks, such as:
- Booking containers with shipping lines
- Preparing and sending booking requests
- Following up on container pickups and deliveries
- Facilitating communication between drivers and factory personnel
- Collecting and handling customs documents
- Tracking shipments online
- Arranging for telex requests and updates
- Assisting with preparing bills of lading (BLs)
Learn and understand import/export regulations and procedures
Develop strong organizational and time management skills
Maintain accurate records and documentation
