MERN Stack Developer

We are seeking a skilled MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a MERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) technology stack. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement user-facing features using React.js, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Build efficient and reusable back-end systems using Node.js and Express.js.
Design and develop APIs for seamless integration between the front-end and back-end.
Create and maintain MongoDB database schemas and ensure their performance, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define project specifications.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues, providing timely resolutions.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the MERN stack development ecosystem, and propose improvements to enhance development processes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices and methodologies.

Requirements:

Proven experience working as a MERN Stack Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
Proficient knowledge of the MERN stack, including MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with server-side APIs.
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git and collaborative platforms like GitHub.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with additional front-end frameworks/libraries such as Redux, Angular, or Vue.js.
Knowledge of database management and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of DevOps practices and tools for automated deployment and continuous integration (CI/CD).
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, or Mocha.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
