Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students to assess their educational and career needs.
Assist students in identifying their strengths, interests, and goals through career assessments and interviews.
Provide information and guidance on academic programs, admission requirements, and career pathways.
Help students develop personalized academic and career plans based on their aspirations and capabilities.
Support students in exploring various career options and job prospects in alignment with their educational pursuits.
Organize workshops, seminars, and informational sessions on career development topics.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance student support services and academic success initiatives.
Stay updated on educational trends, labor market demands, and industry developments to provide relevant guidance to students.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and counseling sessions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Proven experience in career counseling, academic advising, or related roles within the education sector.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with students.
Knowledge of educational systems, academic requirements, and career development resources.
Familiarity with career assessment tools and counseling techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and counseling software.
