Accounting and Bookkeeping Intern

Growlyze Technologies, a dynamic agency based in Johar Town, Lahore, specializes in Revenue Operations (RevOps), CRM, automation, and AI agents for global clients. We are seeking an Accounting & Bookkeeping Intern to join our finance team for a 3 to 4-month on-site internship. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience by applying academic knowledge to real-world business scenarios. You will work closely with a supportive team that encourages learning and growth, with no expectation of complete expertise from day one. Additionally, you will be exposed to the integration of AI in accounting processes, gaining valuable insights into how technology is transforming the finance function.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and categorize financial transactions accurately.
- Work with the Chart of Accounts and perform double-entry bookkeeping.
- Support account reconciliations and assist in preparing financial reports.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and month-end closing activities.
- Learn and apply practical accounting processes on a daily basis, contributing to the smooth operation of the finance function.

Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Familiarity with debits, credits, assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data management and analysis.
- Educational background in accounting or finance, such as ACCA, CA part-qualified, BBA, or a related field.
- Strong eagerness to learn and apply theoretical knowledge in a practical environment.
