Our client, Prime Cartons, is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounting Executive to join their team in the Kamahan area of Lahore. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records to support the company’s financial operations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong attention to detail, capable of working independently while ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including vouchers, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and process accounting entries related to withholding tax, sales tax, and ensure compliance with FBR/IRIS regulations.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely reconciliation of invoices and payments.
- Utilize MS Excel and CRM software proficiently to manage financial data and client information.
- Support sales negotiation processes by providing accurate financial data and client account reports.
- Conduct customer prospecting to identify new leads and contribute to expanding the client base.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to facilitate effective account management.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand cost accounting and financial requirements specific to the industry.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial reports for management review.
- Assist in auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and financial data.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to accounting.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for transactions and reconciliations.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and handle data securely.
- Stay updated with current tax laws and accounting standards applicable to the company.
- Work independently without direct team management responsibilities, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA), or a relevant field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong command of MS Excel.
- Practical knowledge of accounting principles, bank reconciliation, ledgers, vouchers, taxation, and familiarity with FBR/IRIS systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience in the manufacturing industry will be considered an advantage.
- Salary range offered is Rs. 50,000 to 70,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
