Accounts Receivable Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Account Receivable Officer to join our Accounts Receivable Department. The successful candidate will manage customer receivables, monitor outstanding balances, ensure timely collections, maintain accurate records, and support the overall credit control process. Experience in FMCG, distribution, trading, or a corporate environment is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor customer accounts and receivable ledgers.
- Prepare and regularly update Accounts Receivable Aging Reports.
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and overdue payments.
- Coordinate with Sales and Distribution teams on customer balances and collections.
- Record and reconcile customer payments accurately.
- Ensure timely posting of receipts, invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
- Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve payment, invoice, and account-related issues.
- Monitor customer credit limits and payment terms.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
- Track overdue receivables and highlight critical outstanding balances to management.
- Coordinate with customers to obtain payment confirmations and supporting documents.
- Maintain proper documentation of customer accounts and collection records.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required records and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Perform other finance and accounts-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or Finance & Accounts.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, customer ledgers, reconciliations, and collections.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.
- Professional approach in dealing with customers and internal departments.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the following industries will be an advantage: FMCG, Distribution, Trading, Retail, Manufacturing, and Corporate Finance & Accounts.

Job Location
This position is based in DHA Phase 6, Lahore, Pakistan. The role requires in-person attendance at the office.

Compensation
Monthly salary ranges from Rs70,000 to Rs90,000.
