CNC Operator

Active Recruiting seeks a skilled CNC Operator with at least two years of hands-on experience in CNC machine operation. The ideal candidate is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computer numerical control machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role demands attention to detail and the capability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings accurately. The CNC Operator ensures efficient production processes, maintains machine conditions, and adheres to safety standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position does not include team management responsibilities but requires strong collaboration with engineering and quality control departments to meet production targets and quality expectations. The CNC Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining throughput and quality standards by troubleshooting minor machine issues and performing routine maintenance tasks. The role demands consistent focus, technical know-how, and adherence to operational protocols to achieve excellence in CNC machining operations.
Responsibilities

Set up CNC machines according to job orders, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
Load materials and select appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine settings for each production job.
Operate CNC machining equipment to perform cutting, drilling, milling, or turning with high precision.
Monitor machine operations continuously to detect malfunctions or ensure adherence to quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy using measurement tools and compare findings with specifications.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and adjust machine controls to meet quality and efficiency standards.
Maintain accurate production logs, documenting machine hours, materials used, and output.
Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to optimize processes and resolve technical issues.
