Deployment Engineer

This role does not involve direct team management but requires excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to troubleshoot in intricate customer setups with incomplete requirements. Strong technical writing skills are essential to produce clear documentation and runbooks that aid in efficient operations. The Deployment Engineer will work closely with cloud platform management and security teams, maintaining observability across distributed systems by handling issues such as retries, rate limits, and eventual consistency. Experience in areas like SIEM, SOAR, SOC operations, and application and cloud security enhances your ability to contribute to vulnerability management and compliance tasks fostering organizational resilience and customer confidence.
Responsibilities

Implement and integrate security and cloud technologies in customer environments, ensuring robust onboarding of customer data including log sources, credentials, parsers, normalization, validation, and go-live activities.
Develop and maintain automation workflows and orchestration solutions to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.
Write, debug, and maintain Python or similar scripting language code for integrations, data transformation, and complex troubleshooting scenarios.
Manage configuration and monitor cloud platforms and distributed systems, maintaining observability, handling retry logic, rate limits, and eventual consistency.
Perform thorough troubleshooting in complex and incomplete customer environments to resolve deployment and integration issues promptly.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including runbooks to guide deployment and operational tasks for internal and client use.
Collaborate with security operations teams on SIEM, SOAR, and SOC initiatives, contributing expertise in vulnerability management, IAM, application security, and cloud compliance.
Use knowledge of REST, GraphQL, SCIM, webhooks, and OAuth 2.0 protocols to design secure and efficient data exchange mechanisms.
Participate actively in continuous integration and continuous deployment efforts to enhance the automation and efficiency of product delivery pipelines.
Implement monitoring and logging strategies to track system health and detect issues proactively.
