We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Executive to oversee the full accounting function for our UK-based security company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage the full accounting function for the UK-based security company.
● Prepare and finalize year-end financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
● Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK tax legislation.
● Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
● Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, making payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
● Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as required.
● Payroll Management with full knowledge of UK labor laws, Tax codes, and employee Benefits.
● Interacting with clients via calls and emails so the candidate should have full command of Spoken English.
● Possess in-depth knowledge of customs and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) workings.
● Maintain basic knowledge about tender processes, documentation, and requirements.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
● Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
● A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally within a UK-based security company.
● Strong computer skills, including experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
● Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
