Accountant

Ali Petroleum & Gas is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage all aspects of financial record keeping and reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in accounting and be proficient in handling financial statements, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations. This role requires a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting to support the companys operations and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Accountant operates independently and does not manage a team but plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial documents, tracking accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating audits. A strong command of Microsoft Excel and related financial software is essential for efficient data analysis and reporting. This role demands excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders. The successful candidate will contribute to streamlining accounting processes and ensuring adherence to company policies and legal standards.
Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely processing and reconciliation.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to maintain financial accuracy.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Generate financial reports and statements to assist in business decision-making.
Monitor compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as directed.
Identify improvements in accounting processes and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Communicate financial information effectively to management and relevant departments.
