Analyst Software QA Engineer

We are seeking an Analyst Software Engineer to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and Development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Your primary focus will be on thorough testing, identifying issues, and validating software functionality across various platforms. This position offers the opportunity to engage in multiple phases of the software development lifecycle while working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain both functional and non-functional test cases in alignment with QA best practices.
- Execute test cases on cross-platform applications, including web and mobile, and accurately log defects using a bug tracking system.
- Write and run database queries using MSSQL, MySQL, and other platforms to validate data integrity and support testing activities.
- Participate actively in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with an emphasis on Agile methodologies.
- Work with QA automation frameworks such as C#, Selenium, and JavaScript to create automated test cases under guidance.
- Collaborate with PMO and Development teams to gain a clear understanding of project requirements and technical architecture.
- Contribute to software security testing efforts, maintaining awareness of OWASP vulnerabilities and best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in QA or software testing.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the ability to apply QA best practices throughout the development process.
- Strong knowledge of database concepts and proficiency in writing and executing queries.
- Basic familiarity with QA automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset and accountability for assigned tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying work hours and project demands.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration across teams.
- A proactive attitude with eagerness to learn and quickly adopt new tools, technologies, and processes.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Exposure to Python automation and AI/LLM-based testing methodologies is considered a plus.
