Measure land features, such as depth and shape, using reference points.
Research and examine previous land records and verify data from previous records.
Prepare maps and land reports, and provide reports and findings to clients or potential contractors.
Create and log records of survey results
Measure land boundaries.
Make recommendations on the suitability of land for the desired build or project.
Purchase and maintain required equipment for effectively completing surveys.
Provide guidance and support to field staff or junior surveyors and estimators.
Provide site visits to clients and potential land buyers or developers to show them the land and explain the key points from the survey.

Requirements:

DAE Survey or similar field
Demonstrated experience in a similar role
Ability to read and interpret drawings, and diagrams
Ability to effectively manage projects
Strong analytical skills, with keen attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety guidelines
Good report writing skills
Strong manual dexterity
Good problem-solving abilities
Ability to prioritize own time and workload
