Accountant

ASA POLYMER is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with at least one year of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in accounting software and excellent communication skills to effectively handle customer interactions and resolve inquiries. This role requires a professional who is accurate, organized, and capable of managing financial records without direct team supervision. The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial documentation, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. The position involves regular communication with customers to address financial questions and facilitate smooth transactions. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently while maintaining a high level of customer service and attention to detail.
Responsibilities

Maintain and update accounting records with accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for internal use and external compliance.
Use accounting software to record transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate reports.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Communicate professionally with customers to address their financial inquiries and concerns.
Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely transactions.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities as required.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions.
Collaborate with other departments to cross-check financial data and improve processes.
