Assistant Manager Internal Audit

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Internal Auditor to join our team in Lahore on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of relevant experience and hold professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CMA, or an MBA. Finalists in these certifications with the required experience are also encouraged to apply. This role involves conducting thorough financial audits, identifying risks, and improving the efficiency of financial processes while ensuring adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and perform risk-based internal audits across various business functions to assess controls and compliance.
- Identify control gaps and inefficiencies, providing actionable recommendations to strengthen internal processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance internal controls and operational effectiveness.
- Analyze financial data to detect trends, anomalies, and potential risks that could impact the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve compliance and overall business performance.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Support the automation and optimization of audit procedures and reporting tools.
- Assist management by providing data-driven insights to aid in decision-making and risk mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications

- Professional qualification as CA, ACCA, CMA (qualified or finalist) with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of financial cycles including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Cash & Bank, Procurement, Costing, and Expense management.
- Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal control frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One.
