The Assistant Manager Solutions Pre Sales & Project Management will play a critical role in supporting the ICT business by providing financial and commercial expertise. This position involves evaluating business opportunities, managing project financials, analyzing profitability and costs, and delivering timely financial insights to enable informed decision-making. The role requires close collaboration with various internal teams to ensure accurate financial planning and control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain detailed project-wise financial models, budgets, forecasts, and profitability analyses for ICT business opportunities and ongoing projects.
- Support the development of business cases and conduct financial feasibility analyses for DICT projects, identifying key cost factors to maximize profit optimization.
- Review customer RFQs, RFPs, and tenders from financial and commercial perspectives, including pricing assumptions, payment terms, taxes, and financial risks.
- Standardize business calculators aligned with DICT business requirements to minimize human error and improve efficiency.
- Assist in optimizing DICT financial processes with proper justification, including updates to the 3i1BF Policy.
- Maintain trackers for project revenue, costs, margins, and budgets, promptly highlighting any deviations to management.
- Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Regional Points of Contact at headquarters on financial and commercial matters.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports and dashboards to provide clear visibility into the DICT business performance.
- Ensure all financial and commercial documentation is maintained accurately for audits, management reviews, and internal controls.
- Undertake additional financial and analytical assignments related to the DICT business as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is essential.
- Part-qualified ACCA, ACMA, or CA credentials will be considered an advantage.
- Ideally, 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in ICT, telecom, technology, system integration, or project-based business environments.
- Proven experience in project financial analysis, commercial finance, or business planning is preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
- Solid understanding of profit and loss statements, revenue, cost structures, gross margin, cash flow, and net present value (NPV) concepts.
- Knowledge of project finance and commercial management principles.
- Ability to analyze Bills of Quantities (BoQs), vendor quotations, pricing, and cost structures effectively.
- Familiarity with GCSS products and solutions, particularly within the DICT business domain.
- Advanced data analysis and reporting skills, including the ability to create management dashboards.
- Capability to identify financial and commercial risks proactively rather than merely processing transactions.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.

This role reports directly to the Director of the DICT Center and is based in Islamabad. The position demands a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive financial discipline and commercial success within the ICT business.
