Associate Software Engineer

Softpers Interactive is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join its full-stack development team. This role involves working with multiple technology stacks and contributing to AI-powered applications. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with experienced developers on a variety of client projects, ensuring seamless and efficient implementation of technology solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in both backend and frontend development while engaging with cutting-edge AI tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Integrate AI code agents and large language model (LLM)-powered features into applications.
- Develop and maintain web applications using Python, Node.js, React, Next.js, and Laravel.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions and conduct code reviews with team members.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full technology stack.
- Engage in client meetings, effectively communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for development processes and practices.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in backend development using Python and Node.js.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js.
- Familiarity with Laravel/PHP is a plus but not mandatory.
- Working knowledge of AI code agents like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and database management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, especially from recognized institutions such as FAST NUCES, COMSAT, NUST, or PUCIT.
- At least six months of professional or internship experience in software development.
- Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
