ASTN is looking for a dedicated Accountant to manage financial records and ensure accurate accounting practices. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience and is skilled in financial reporting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and proficient in Microsoft Excel. The Accountant will oversee a team of 15 people, leading efforts to maintain compliance and accuracy in all financial documentation.
This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent verification abilities to ensure the integrity of accounts. The Accountant communicates effectively to coordinate with various departments and supports the organization's financial objectives by maintaining clear and organized records. The position demands solid understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work well within a team environment while providing leadership to junior accounting staff.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the companys financial status.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transaction postings.
- Verify the accuracy of financial data and reconcile discrepancies in accounts.
- Lead and supervise a team of 15 accounting personnel, providing guidance and monitoring performance.
- Maintain detailed financial records that comply with company policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve accounting issues.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively to organize data, prepare reports, and perform financial calculations.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal controls related to accounting activities.
- Communicate financial information clearly to management and other stakeholders.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations for account entries.
