We are building future-ready technology products for children and families, seeking a Production Associate for Video and Motion.

This role involves transforming scripts, voice tracks, and illustrated characters into polished animated videos that engage young viewers. The position offers an opportunity to join a small, early team with significant creative ownership and influence on the visual style and production quality of content.

The ideal candidate has 1 to 3 years of experience in video editing or motion design, with strong skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, and a good sense of timing for animation and video pacing.

The Production Associate works closely with the team to animate 2D characters, synchronize lip movements with voice tracks, and apply simple camera movements to bring narratives to life. Utilizing AI tools for video and voice production is encouraged to increase efficiency while maintaining high-quality finishing work by hand.

The role demands meticulous organization of media assets and project files to streamline workflows for faster production of each subsequent episode. This position does not involve managing a team but requires self-direction, reliability, and an eagerness to receive and implement feedback iteratively to improve output continually.

Responsibilities
  • Animate illustrated characters and scenes in two-dimensional formats, including expressions, lip-syncing to voice tracks, and applying simple camera movements.
  • Edit complete episodes from start to finish, integrating voice, music, sound effects, captions, and pacing designed to maintain the attention of young viewers.
  • Employ artificial intelligence tools for video and voice work to generate ideas and accelerate production timelines before refining content manually.
  • Edit and format episodes into multiple versions suitable for various platforms, including vertical short-form content.
  • Organize and maintain project files, media assets, and libraries to boost production efficiency and quality over time.
  • Apply expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve to produce professional-grade content.
  • Keep up to date with evolving media asset management best practices such as media file naming, taxonomy, version control, and archival workflows.
  • Perform video encoding, transcoding, proxy generation, and export tasks adhering to platform-specific technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to interpret scripts and voice tracks into engaging, educational animations targeted at children and families.
  • Take initiative in learning new AI-based video, animation, and audio tools to enhance creative workflow and production capabilities.
  • Ensure high-quality audio recording and editing, synchronizing sound elements effectively with video components for seamless viewer experiences.
  • Participate in feedback loops, incorporating direction and critique to improve animations and overall video production outcomes.
