Our company Atlas Equipments is looking to hire an Accountant for its food division ‘Atlas Foods’.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Prepare and post all accounting entries along with journal entries using the Peachtree software.
- Prepare and maintain vendors and customers ledgers.
- Carry out physical inventory counts on a regular basis.
- Fund Flow on daily basis along with stock movement report.
- Prepare and record receipt and payment vouchers.
- Prepare raw materials consumption reports along with analysis.
- Prepare and analyze account reconciliations.
- Prepare reports detailing monthly expenses.
- Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
- Prepare statutory accounts on a monthly basis.
- Ad Hoc Analysis as needed.
- Frequently visit the factory for understanding the whole running process and suggesting any improvements if necessary.
- Recovery from distributor and keep a monitor on the credit time period given and payments received.
- Prepare a monthly recovery report.
- Correspond with other corporate departments to ensure proper accounting for purchases and expenses.
- Cheaques and Cash Bank Deposits and Withdrawals.
- Budgeting and Controlling.
- Payrolls and Salaries Vouchers.
- Close coordination with the distribution office.
