We are seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data visualization and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern BI tools, data platforms, and front-end customization, enabling the organization to make informed, data-driven decisions. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive, high-performance dashboards and reports that drive actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Apache Superset, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and optimal performance.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear visualizations and key performance indicators (KPIs), focusing on usability, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Maintain user-centric analytics solutions that promote reporting excellence across the organization.
- Design and optimize analytics workflows on large-scale datasets using ClickHouse, implementing star and snowflake schema models alongside ETL/ELT transformations.
- Ensure data integrity and governance throughout reporting layers by leveraging Microsoft Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Dataflows, and Warehousing for unified analytics.
- Enhance dashboard UI/UX by applying CSS and web technologies, customizing embedded analytics, and ensuring responsive, user-friendly layouts.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and product teams to gather requirements, refine reporting, and deliver actionable data insights and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling, along with experience in Apache Superset for building interactive dashboards and reports.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, ClickHouse, and SQL optimization techniques to efficiently manage and query large datasets.
- Experience with CSS and front-end customization to improve dashboard aesthetics and user experience in embedded analytics environments.
- Expertise in optimizing query performance within ClickHouse and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines following BI performance tuning best practices.
- Effective communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Basic knowledge of Python or scripting languages for data processing tasks.
- Experience working with real-time or near-real-time analytics systems.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- A minimum of three years’ experience as a BI Developer or BI Engineer is preferred.
- This is an on-site position located near Defence Road, close to the University of Lahore/Bhobtiyan Chowk.
- The monthly salary range for this role is Rs100,000 to Rs200,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
