Bio Lab Technician

We are looking to hire two skilled Bio Lab Technicians to support laboratory operations for an ongoing project. The successful candidates will be responsible for handling biological samples, preparing and testing them, operating laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control, and maintaining accurate records. All tasks must be performed following approved laboratory procedures and project guidelines to ensure safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, label, register, and handle biological samples safely and accurately.
- Prepare samples and reagents in accordance with established laboratory protocols.
- Assist with laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures within the scope of the candidate’s qualifications and authorization.
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain laboratory registers, test records, and quality-control documentation meticulously.
- Adhere strictly to biosafety, infection control, waste disposal, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with Veterinary Doctors and other project personnel to facilitate smooth laboratory operations.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged samples, equipment malfunctions, or abnormal test results promptly to the designated supervisor.

Required Qualifications

- Relevant educational background in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline recognized under the project’s eligibility criteria.
- Fulfillment of the project’s specific eligibility requirements for Bio Lab Technicians.
- Knowledge of biological sample handling, laboratory safety protocols, documentation standards, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and comply with all project protocols and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Previous laboratory experience will be considered an advantage.
- The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs110,000.
- The work location is on-site, requiring physical presence at the laboratory.
