Blesso Cosmetics seeks a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with over five years of professional experience to join their team in Johar Town, Lahore. This full-time onsite role demands expertise in Python and Django for backend development, combined with proficiency in Vue.js for frontend implementations. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of robust features impacting clients within the maritime and foreign trade sectors. Working primarily within an agile environment, the developer must deliver solutions across the full technology stack, including database modeling, API development, and user interface integration.
The Senior Full Stack Developer must demonstrate technical autonomy and the ability to manage complex product requirements within 2-week sprint cycles effectively. Strong communication skills and an aptitude for collaboration are essential, as this role encompasses active participation in planning, reviews, and continuous improvement meetings. While team management is not required, the professional is expected to lead by example in coding standards, testing practices, and documentation, aiding in maintaining high-quality product releases under tight schedules.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend functionalities using Python 3, Django 3, and Django REST Framework to support scalable applications.
- Create and implement RESTful API endpoints based on requirements from product owners and technical teams.
- Model, migrate, and optimize PostgreSQL databases to ensure effective data storage and retrieval.
- Develop asynchronous background tasks through Celery to enhance performance and responsiveness.
- Integrate Elasticsearch for advanced search capabilities and reporting purposes.
- Utilize Redis for intelligent caching strategies and efficient session management.
- Build and maintain seamless integrations with external systems such as SAP, EDI, and shipping line APIs.
- Collaborate on frontend development using Vue.js to create dynamic, user-friendly web interfaces that consume backend APIs.
- Write comprehensive automated unit and integration tests to uphold code quality and system reliability.
- Deploy and manage applications within Docker container environments adhering to established operational standards.
- Engage actively in all phases of the agile software development lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily standups, code reviews, iteration demos, and retrospectives.
- Manage development workflows using Azure DevOps for backlog handling, version control with Git, pull request implementations, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Document technical implementations and changes accurately to maintain clear communication and knowledge sharing within the team.
