Senior Executive – HR & Finance

Burger Boss is looking for a Senior Executive – HR & Finance to manage and support the organization's HR, payroll, finance, accounting, taxation, and compliance functions. The position requires a highly organized and hands-on professional who can independently manage day-to-day HR and finance activities while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and applicable statutory requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, employee records and HR administration, accounts payable and receivable, bank and cash reconciliations, taxation and withholding tax (WHT), financial reporting, and employee-related financial matters.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of payroll processing, Income Tax, WHT, MS Excel, accounting practices, and HR operations, with the ability to work closely with management and different departments. Experience with HCM/HRMS and payroll software, particularly FLOW HCM, will be an advantage.

This role requires a professional who is detail-oriented, proactive, analytical, and capable of handling confidential employee and financial information with a high level of integrity and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Manage the complete monthly payroll cycle, including attendance, salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions, loans, advances, recoveries, and final settlements.
Verify payroll inputs and ensure accurate and timely salary processing in coordination with relevant departments.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, payroll data, attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
Handle employee queries related to salaries, deductions, attendance, leaves, loans, advances, and company policies.
Manage employee onboarding, transfers, confirmations, promotions, and separation documentation.
Maintain and monitor employee loans, salary advances, deductions, and recoveries.
Handle day-to-day accounting and finance operations and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on a timely basis.
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including vendor balances, payments, and outstanding receivables.
Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting documentation.
Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies where required.
Monitor vendor payments, employee-related payments, and outstanding balances.
Assist in monthly closing, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and expense analysis.
Prepare management reports and financial information as required by management.
Handle Income Tax and Withholding Tax (WHT) calculations, deductions, recording, and related documentation.
Ensure timely preparation of tax workings, WHT records, and statutory documentation.
Coordinate with tax consultants and relevant authorities regarding taxation and compliance matters.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, statutory requirements, and internal company policies.
Maintain proper supporting documentation and organized records for HR, payroll, finance, and taxation.
Identify discrepancies, process gaps, and control weaknesses and recommend improvements to management.
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee, payroll, financial, and company information.
Perform other HR and finance-related duties assigned by management.
