Bright Star Marketing (Pvt.) Ltd., located in Civic Center, Phase IV, Bahria Town, Islamabad, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cashier to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily cash transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting the accounts department with routine financial tasks. This role requires a trustworthy individual who can ensure the safe handling of cash and support the company’s financial operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately handle daily cash receipts, payments, and transactions.
- Maintain cash books, payment vouchers, receipts, and all supporting financial documents.
- Prepare daily cash reports and reconcile cash balances to ensure accuracy.
- Verify invoices, bills, and payment records for correctness.
- Keep proper documentation of all financial transactions for audit and review purposes.
- Coordinate closely with the Accounts Department regarding cash handling and reporting procedures.
- Ensure the secure custody of cash and related financial records at all times.
- Report any cash discrepancies or financial irregularities promptly to the supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support financial operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or intermediate-level qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in cashiering or accounts-related roles is preferred.
- Basic understanding of cash handling, bookkeeping, and financial documentation processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and fundamental computer skills.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated honesty, responsibility, punctuality, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
