Join Chaplet International (Pvt) Limited as a Product Costing Executive, responsible for executing and validating accurate product costing to support financial and operational decision-making. The role focuses on performing pre-order and post-order costing within agreed timelines while utilizing SAP systems for cost estimates of sales orders and materials. This position plays a key role in monitoring costing master data and coordinating with various functions such as Production, Marketing, PPC, and Master Data teams to resolve costing discrepancies and ensure accuracy. The Product Costing Executive also conducts variance analysis to identify cost deviations, supports budgeting and forecasting activities, and contributes to month-end and year-end financial closings. This role requires proficiency in SAP Financial Accounting (FI), Microsoft Excel, and a solid understanding of manufacturing costing principles including BOM, routing, overhead absorption, and inventory valuation. This position does not involve team management but requires collaboration across multiple departments to drive cost optimization and profitability initiatives.
Responsibilities

Execute pre-order and post-order costing activities for assigned business units according to agreed schedules.
Validate SAP cost estimates for sales orders and materials to ensure precise cost calculations.
Perform comprehensive variance analysis between pre-costing and post-costing results and identify cost discrepancies.
Collaborate with PPC, Production, Marketing, and Master Data teams to resolve issues related to Bill of Materials, routing, and production versions.
Monitor and maintain costing master data such as material rates, activity rates, and overhead rates.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives by providing detailed cost insights and analyses.
Analyze production variances, inventory valuation, and overhead absorption to assist management decision-making processes.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities ensuring accuracy in costing information and compliance with policies.
Ensure adherence to costing policies, internal controls, and audit requirements across all costing operations.
Prepare and deliver monthly costing, profitability, Management Information Systems (MIS), and management reports to stakeholders.
