Chief Security Officer

Our client, a leading organization in the private aviation industry based in Karachi, Pakistan, is seeking a seasoned Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead and manage all aspects of corporate and aviation security. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding personnel, aircraft, facilities, and organizational assets while ensuring full compliance with relevant aviation security regulations and international standards. This role demands a strategic leader with extensive experience in security operations, risk management, and regulatory adherence within the aviation or corporate security sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the company’s aviation and corporate security functions, ensuring strict compliance with NCASP, PCAA, and ICAO standards.
- Develop, implement, and continuously update security policies, programs, and operational procedures to address evolving threats.
- Oversee comprehensive threat assessments, risk management initiatives, security intelligence gathering, and crisis response strategies.
- Coordinate closely with government and law enforcement agencies such as ASF, PCAA, FIA, ANF, Customs, IB, and Police to maintain robust security protocols.
- Ensure the protection of aircraft, personnel, facilities, and operational assets against all security threats.
- Manage security personnel, departmental budgets, background vetting processes, investigations, and conduct regular security audits.
- Monitor ongoing regulatory compliance and ensure timely resolution of any findings from security audits.

Required Qualifications:
- Retired Senior Military Officer from the Armed Forces or an experienced civil security professional with a strong background in security management.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in security management, preferably within aviation or corporate security environments.
- In-depth knowledge of NCASP, PCAA AVSEC regulations, and ICAO Annex 17 standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in security leadership, threat assessment, risk management, and effective inter-agency coordination.
- Strong leadership skills with proven capabilities in crisis management and sound decision-making under pressure.
