Civil Engineer

Vasao Properties is seeking a motivated and experienced Project/Civil Engineer to join our team based in DHA, Karachi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing construction activities across various projects, ensuring quality and timely execution. This position requires strong site experience, keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor project progress, quality, and workmanship on site to ensure compliance with standards.
- Coordinate closely with contractors, consultants, and project teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Review drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and work quantities for accuracy and feasibility.
- Oversee materials, construction methods, and site practices to maintain high-quality standards.
- Identify construction-related issues and work collaboratively with consultants to resolve them promptly.
- Review contractor progress reports and assist in verifying completed works.
- Track project timelines, manage variations, and address site requirements efficiently.
- Conduct snagging inspections and support the project through to completion and handover.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive project records along with regular progress reports.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in residential and commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, technical drawings, and BOQs.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple project demands.
- Must be based in Karachi.
