128 Securities (Pvt.) Ltd. formerly known as Shahid Mahmood Brokerage House started out as a bonds and securities business in 1986 and later established itself as a stocks brokerage house in 1993. The house has now been in existence for 14 years and is being run by Shahid Mahmood, Qasim Mahmood and Hashim Mahmood, sons of Akram Sultan Mahmood who was the first member of the Lahore Stock Exchange who received the Role of Honor Award from the exchange.

The house originally had one office in the LSE building and later branched out a second office was established in 1996 in Defence Housing Authority, a third office established in 2000 in New Garden Town and now also enjoys a women\'s wing and a data dissemination lounge in Defence.
