Sustainable Development Alternatives (SDA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization registered under society�s act 1860. It is a pool of researchers, scientists, implementers and policy scholars who believes in sustainable action for all spheres of life. SDA wish to turn out one new method after another, always combining two goals: creating income for the poor and regenerating the environment. SDA also wanted to introduce the concept of sustainable development - living within the limits of the natural environment and livelihoods without compromising the needs of future generations.

Conventional development practices only increase the gap between the haves and the have-nots. SDA aimed to develop such mechanisms and institutional systems, which are needed to achieve equitable and environmentally sound development.

SDA will continue to lobby governments and policy-makers, conduct research, influence education systems, and work with business and industry to address global threats to the planet by seeking long-term solutions.
