COMSATS Internet Services invites qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Medical Officer on a contract basis at the CIS Tele-Health Center Islamabad. In this role, the Medical Officer is responsible for examining patients using advanced computer-mounted digital diagnostic equipment such as digital stethoscopes, vital sign monitors, and ultrasound probes. The role involves providing accurate clinical assessments, advising on appropriate prescriptions, and maintaining detailed electronic health records for all patients visiting the clinics. The Medical Officer will oversee a small team of two persons, ensuring smooth operations at the Tele-Health Center and effective patient care management.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant experience in clinical assessment and patient care management. They must be proficient in electronic health record management and medical documentation. The role requires strong attention to detail to maintain soft records for future patient follow-ups and continuity of care. The Medical Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering quality health services through telemedicine platforms while collaborating closely with their team to enhance patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.
Responsibilities
COMSATS Internet Service in collaboration with Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) have deployed L-Root Servers in Islamabad and Lahore. The L-Root instances in Pakistan have helped improve internet speeds and disseminate traffic allowing users to experience reduced response time for DNS queries, and significantly improved inter-networking efficiency of country’s Internet infrastructure.
