The core objective of the role will be technical support. Be the single point of contact for all incoming customer requests including: Repairs, MACDs, general and billing inquiries.
Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications.
Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
Have ownership over all tickets/requests and direct to the appropriate resource and follow up with customers on all requests to ensure completion and customer satisfaction.
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum 1 years of experience in technical support role
Must have current Cisco hands on experience
What are we looking for?
A candidate with minimum 1 years’ experience as both a Voice AND Network Technician.
Hands-on experience working with Cisco network gear managing an enterprise level WAN
Intermediate understanding of Layer 3 protocols, i.e. OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
A self-motivated individual Ability to build / maintain strong relationships, effectively partner with peers, and possess excellent verbal / written communication skill
Must have intermediate level knowledge of:• Voice: SIP and Skinny protocols, G.711 and G.729 codecs
Be available for a low-volume on-call rotation.
Nice to Have:
Prior Broadworks (Broadsoft) experience
Hands on experience with VoIP
Certificate/degree in Technical Services related area or equivalent
Highly motivated, able to work independently, able to prioritize and multitask, meet tight deadlines Must be accountable, ambitious, likes to initiate solving problems Excellent knowledge of voice and data services Excellent Computer skills and very good knowledge of Microsoft products and customer relationship management systems.
