Supervisor PD Finishing

The Supervisor PD Finishing at Crescent Bahuman Limited plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations related to the finishing of production development samples. This role involves ensuring that all finishing activitiesincluding thread trimming, pressing, cleaning, labeling, and final presentationare conducted efficiently and meet all buyer specifications for quality and garment measurements. The Supervisor carefully monitors daily production targets, work-in-progress, sample receiving, and dispatch operations to meet organizational timelines and standards. Working closely with multiple departments such as PD Sewing, Quality Assurance, Washing, and Merchandising, the Supervisor ensures seamless coordination and a smooth workflow throughout the finishing process. In addition to hands-on operational responsibilities, this position requires leadership and team management skills to guide and train a finishing team of two persons. The Supervisor ensures that team members consistently meet quality and productivity benchmarks while adhering to buyer standards, technical specifications, and company standard operating procedures. Reporting on daily progress and identifying any production issues are key to supporting ongoing process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance. This role demands a minimum of five years of relevant experience and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards in sample finishing operations.
Responsibilities

Supervise daily PD finishing operations to ensure timely and accurate completion of sample orders.
Ensure proper execution of thread trimming, pressing, cleaning, labeling, and final presentation of all samples.
Verify garment measurements and overall quality against buyer specifications and company quality standards.
Monitor and report on daily production targets, work-in-progress status, sample receiving, and dispatch activities.
Coordinate effectively with PD Sewing, Quality Assurance, Washing, Merchandising, and other departments to ensure a smooth production workflow.
Lead, train, and monitor a finishing team of two members to achieve and maintain quality and productivity objectives.
Enforce strict compliance with buyer standards, technical specifications, and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Identify and address production issues promptly, providing detailed reports on daily progress and challenges.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting optimizations in finishing processes and workflows.
Maintain inventory control to ensure necessary materials are available and properly managed during finishing operations.
