Crescent Technologies is seeking a motivated Software Engineer with at least one year of professional experience. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and strong abilities in software design and problem-solving. This role focuses on independently developing and maintaining software modules, ensuring efficient code development, testing, and debugging. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams within an agile environment and contribute to delivering high quality software products.
As a Software Engineer at Crescent Technologies, you will take responsibility for analyzing system requirements and designing robust software solutions. You will apply best practices such as code review, unit testing, and version control using tools such as Git. This position requires proficiency in multiple programming languages, particularly Python and Java, and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex code. Your contributions will support continuous improvement of software quality and performance without direct management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Develop, test, and maintain software modules in compliance with agreed technical specifications and quality standards.
- Apply version control practices using Git to manage changes and maintain code integrity.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and improve code quality.
- Create and execute unit tests to validate software functionality and detect defects early.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to plan and deliver features on schedule.
- Document software designs, technical decisions, and operational procedures clearly and accurately.
- Continuously learn and apply new software development tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Ensure system designs are scalable, maintainable, and meet business requirements.
