The IT Sales Representative will be responsible for selling IT products and services to customers. The representative will establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships. The representative will work with customers to understand their needs and offer customized solutions to meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to promote IT products and services.
- Provide technical and product information to customers, explaining the benefits of IT products and services and how they can be used to improve their business operations.
- Conduct market research and analyze customer data to identify trends and new opportunities for growth.
- Attend trade shows and other events to promote IT products and services to potential customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure that products and services meet customer needs.
- Develop sales proposals, quotes and negotiate contracts with customers.
- Achieve sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of IT products and services.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
