Key Responsibilities
Build comprehensive product listings using manufacturer part numbers. Generate SEO-optimized product titles, descriptions, and key features by leveraging AI tools. Conduct thorough research to compile accurate technical specifications from manufacturer websites and reliable sources. Source, organize, and optimize high-quality product images to enhance listings. Utilize AI platforms to speed up product content creation while ensuring accuracy and consistency. Explore and implement web scraping, browser automation, APIs, and other technologies to automate data collection processes. Identify opportunities to minimize manual effort through automation and process improvements. Validate product data rigorously to maintain high standards of quality. Work efficiently with large datasets using Excel, Google Sheets, and other data management tools. Collaborate closely with the development team to improve internal workflows related to catalog building.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong analytical and research skills are essential. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is required. Comfortable using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools. Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Self-driven and passionate about learning new technologies and applying them effectively.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with Python or other scripting languages is advantageous. Familiarity with web scraping tools like BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Playwright, or Scrapy is preferred. Understanding of APIs and data extraction methods will be beneficial. Knowledge of SEO principles and e-commerce product content creation is a plus. Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, or Make is desirable.
