Special Educator Speech Therapist Occupational Therapist Behavior Therapist

Dawat-e-Islami Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educator Speech Therapist Occupational Therapist Behavior Therapist with at least one year of experience. This role focuses on designing and implementing individualized education programs and behavioral intervention plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. The specialist will utilize educational assessment tools and techniques such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) to support children with diverse learning and developmental challenges. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in documentation and reporting to ensure accurate communication of student progress and needs. The position does not involve team management responsibilities but requires close collaboration with families and other professionals to ensure effective intervention and educational outcomes. The ideal candidate actively evaluates and adapts therapeutic strategies to promote communication, functional skills, and positive behavior among students. This role involves direct one-on-one intervention, ongoing assessment of educational and behavioral needs, and continuous updating of intervention plans to reflect individual progress. The therapist collaborates with school staff and caregivers to create a supportive learning environment. Compliance with all relevant professional standards and ethical guidelines is essential. Attention to detail in maintaining thorough documentation is critical for monitoring progress and facilitating communication across multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
Conduct comprehensive educational and behavioral assessments using standardized tools.
Design and administer behavioral intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA).
Provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behavior therapy to support student development.
Monitor and document student progress meticulously, maintaining accurate and timely records.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to coordinate therapeutic activities and promote consistency in intervention.
Adjust intervention techniques and strategies according to continuous assessment results and changing student needs.
Adhere to professional ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of therapy and documentation.
Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with the latest practices in special education and therapy.
Support an inclusive classroom environment that facilitates the integration and participation of students with special needs.
