DevOps Engineer

Deline Media Pakistan Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their infrastructure team. This role focuses on provisioning and maintaining cloud-based resources on AWS, troubleshooting incidents, and implementing infrastructure as code. The engineer will actively collaborate with multiple teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure meets performance, security, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate brings expertise in managing a variety of AWS services, container orchestration, CI/CD automation, and scripting abilities to optimize deployment processes and maintain stable operations. The successful DevOps Engineer has 3 years of relevant experience and works effectively in an agile environment. Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, creating automated pipelines for continuous integration and delivery, and playing a key role in incident management and root cause analysis. Although this role does not involve direct team management, it requires strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and manage production support activities to meet company goals in the healthcare technology domain.
Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, and optimize AWS infrastructure components including ECS, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route 53, RDS, CloudFront, Lambda, AWS WAF, and ECR.
Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to support automated application deployments.
Develop, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Amazon ECS (Fargate and EC2 launch types).
Automate provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Configure and monitor event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka or Amazon MSK, ensuring reliability and performance.
Create and maintain automation scripts and internal tools primarily using Python and Bash to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
Implement comprehensive infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance tuning using solutions like Amazon CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.
Troubleshoot production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
Collaborate closely with development teams, quality assurance, and security teams to align infrastructure capabilities with application needs and security standards.
Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to security best practices, including managing IAM policies, secrets management, least privilege access, and infrastructure hardening.
Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and provide timely production support to maintain high availability and reliability.
Keep up to date with industry best practices, compliance frameworks such as HIPAA and ISO/IEC 27001, and adopt DevSecOps practices to secure cloud environments.
