Deputy Manager Logistics

We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager Logistics to join our team in Lahore on a full-time, on-site basis. This role involves overseeing international shipping routes, managing vendor relationships, controlling freight costs, and ensuring smooth coordination of shipments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling budgets, duties, shipment documentation, and driving process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. This position operates during the morning shift with some flexibility in scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and optimize international shipping routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with vendors and freight forwarders to maintain strong partnerships and negotiate favorable terms.
- Monitor and control freight costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Oversee shipment coordination, including scheduling, tracking, and resolving any logistical issues.
- Prepare and manage all necessary shipment documentation, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
- Implement process improvements to streamline logistics operations and increase overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support supply chain activities and meet organizational goals.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in logistics management, preferably with exposure to international shipping.
- Strong understanding of freight costs, customs duties, and shipment documentation.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working with international freight forwarders and knowledge of global shipping regulations is advantageous.

- Competitive salary range of PKR 150,000 to 180,000.
