Design & Engineering Systems (Pvt.) Ltd. is looking for a highly experienced and dynamic professional for the position of Chief Engineer (Engg. / Contracts). The incumbent will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, technical oversight, and contract management for infrastructure and construction projects including roads, bridges, buildings, flyovers, and related civil works.
The role requires strong expertise in project execution, engineering operations, contract administration, claims management, and FIDIC-based contractual practices. The selected candidate will ensure projects are delivered within timelines, approved budgets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements while effectively managing risks, resources, and stakeholder coordination.
The ideal candidate should be a BSc Civil Engineer (PEC Registered) with 1015 years of extensive experience in construction and infrastructure projects. Strong expertise in project management, site execution, team leadership, budgeting, technical approvals, and contract management is essential
Responsibilities

- Develop and approve designs and systems architecture that meet technical standards and project requirements.
- Manage project budgets and control costs through detailed financial planning and monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with all technical approvals, regulations, and quality standards applicable to civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including architects, contractors, and clients to achieve project goals.
- Utilize project management tools such as MS Project to schedule tasks, allocate resources, and track project progress.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor work progress, resolve technical issues, and maintain safety standards.
- Implement systems engineering principles to optimize performance and reliability of engineering solutions.
- Provide expert advice and leadership in resolving complex engineering challenges throughout all project phases.
