1. Must be a good document controller.
2. Must involved in every aspect of the submission and have an excellent appreciation of what the client needs
3. Ensure that all business activity is conducted in line with company values, policies and ethics codes of conduct.
4. Report progress of the bids/projects at regular intervals to the Head of Projects
5. Undertake any other activity as reasonably requested by management
6. Manage third party contributions to the bids/projects as appropriate
7. Work closely with and provide support to the Sales, BD & Marketing departments to capture targeted customer funded business in accordance with company forecasts and plans
8. Lead bids/projects; planning and monitoring overall progress, managing risks, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate to ensure bids/projects are executed within the agreed schedule, cost and performance, in a professional project management manner
9. Ensure that all the client's questions have been answered as fully as possible, and that the organization has given itself the best possible chance of success
10. Submitting a completed bid to an existing or prospective client, on time
11. To be accountable for revenue and gross margin achievement on customer funded projects, monitoring the expenditures and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the projects progress
12. Ensure that bid/project deliverables are to the appropriate levels of quality, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the bid/project plans
