As a key member of Designline Associates, the Architectural & Structural Draftsman collaborates closely with architects and engineers to ensure design accuracy and structural integrity throughout all project phases. The role demands strong technical drafting skills with a focus on structural detailing and its coordination with architectural layouts. Although this position does not manage a team, it requires excellent time management and self-motivation to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. The Draftsman will prepare comprehensive documentation that serves as a foundation for construction activities, supporting the firm's commitment to delivering precise and buildable designs. Attention to detail and responsibility in adapting drawings according to project developments are vital for success in this role.
Responsibilities

Prepare accurate architectural and structural drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction documentation.
Develop reinforced cement concrete (RCC) structural drawings for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and stairs.
Coordinate between architectural and structural drawings to ensure consistency and compliance with design intent.
Revise drawings according to feedback and instructions from architects and engineers in a timely manner.
Interpret and apply dimensions, levels, grids, and construction details within drawings.
Produce working, submission, and construction drawings that meet project standards and deadlines.
Ensure drawings conform to industry standards and project specifications.
Maintain organized documentation and version control of drawings.
Collaborate effectively with design team members to resolve drafting and design challenges.
Assess technical drawings for accuracy and propose improvements when necessary.
Manage own workload efficiently to meet project timelines and quality requirements.
