We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with a minimum of three years of experience to join our team onsite in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and production environments. This role requires close collaboration with development teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient application delivery across multiple environments. The working hours for this position are from 12 PM to 9 PM, Sunday through Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on both Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Design, implement, and oversee CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment processes.
- Administer and support Windows and Linux server environments.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Handle cloud networking components including DNS, firewalls, load balancers, SSL certificates, IP management, and access controls.
- Support monitoring, logging, backup, and basic disaster recovery procedures.
- Manage staging, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production environments effectively.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and cloud-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with development teams to support release management and deployment activities.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Operations roles.
- Hands-on experience with GCP and Azure cloud platforms.
- Proven expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
- Solid knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience in cloud server management and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts such as DNS, firewall configuration, load balancing, SSL, IP management, and access control.
- Experience supporting monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage staging, UAT, and production environments.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with development teams during deployments and releases.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Kubernetes orchestration is a plus.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and cost optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting financial or enterprise-level applications is highly desirable.
This is a full-time, onsite position based in I-10/3 Islamabad. The monthly salary range for this role is Rs. 250,000 to Rs. 320,000. Candidates who meet the qualifications and are interested in this opportunity are encouraged to apply.
