Diamodus International is seeking an Assistant Manager Accounts and Finance to lead and oversee key accounting and financial activities within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and audit coordination. This role requires supervising daily accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant financial regulations, including tax and statutory obligations in Pakistan. The Assistant Manager will ensure the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, effectively manage cash flows, and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets. This position involves significant collaboration with internal departments such as HR for payroll and employee-related financial transactions, as well as coordination with auditors to provide comprehensive and accurate documentation. The role includes managing a team of two personnel, requiring leadership skills to support and guide team members in their tasks. The role demands proficiency in ERP systems, advanced MS Excel functions including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and strong analytical capabilities. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively under pressure to meet pressing deadlines. A minimum of five years of relevant experience in accounts and finance, coupled with a bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field, is required. Preferred qualifications include CA Inter, ACCA, ICMA, M.Com, MBA, or equivalent professional certifications.
Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.
  • Review vouchers, invoices, journal entries, payment requests and all supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain and reconcile General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable records with precision and consistency.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive management reports, conduct expense analysis and provide financial summaries for decision-making.
  • Monitor daily cash and bank balances to optimize liquidity and support operational requirements.
  • Conduct timely bank reconciliations and review bank transactions to ensure alignment and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support tax and statutory compliance by assisting in the interpretation and implementation of Pakistani taxation requirements and withholding procedures.
  • Assist with payroll review processes including accuracy of calculations and relevant accounting entries.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources on employee financial matters such as advances, loans, and reimbursements while maintaining accurate records.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors by providing requested documents, records, and schedules to facilitate audit processes.
  • Support the implementation and enforcement of internal controls to protect company assets and ensure procedural integrity.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for inventory and fixed assets, ensuring proper valuation and reconciliation.
  • Drive the accuracy and timeliness of monthly and annual accounts closing processes to meet organizational deadlines.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of two personnel, delegating tasks and supporting their professional development and performance.
  • Utilize ERP accounting software to streamline processes, ensuring data accuracy and efficient financial operations.
  • Apply advanced MS Excel skills to analyze, interpret and present financial data effectively.
  • Uphold high standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethics in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
