Draftsman

The Draftsman will play a crucial role in preparing precise technical drawings, construction plans, and detailed layouts for residential, commercial, and real estate development projects. This position demands strong proficiency in AutoCAD, a keen eye for technical detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, interior designers, and site teams. The goal is to ensure that all drawings align with project specifications and meet construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed architectural, structural, and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, site layouts, and working drawings specifically for residential buildings and luxury villas.
- Create as-built drawings and update existing drawings based on site conditions and design modifications.
- Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, interior designers, and project managers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of drawings.
- Review drawings for dimensions, specifications, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
- Incorporate revisions promptly and maintain organized records of all drawing versions.
- Assist in preparing detailed drawings related to interior layouts, finishing works, and construction detailing.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to verify dimensions and ensure drawings correspond with actual site conditions.
- Maintain well-organized drawing files, documentation, and project records.
- Ensure all drawings are completed accurately and submitted within project deadlines.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field is considered an advantage.
- Between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in construction, architectural drafting, or real estate development.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting software is a plus.
- Ability to interpret architectural plans, technical drawings, and construction details effectively.
- Experience working on residential buildings, luxury villas, and interior finishing drawings is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and coordination skills.

Exposure to residential projects, luxury villas, and architectural working drawings will be highly valued. The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs60,000.

This position requires the candidate to work on-site to facilitate close collaboration with project teams and ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
